"Using dimensional analysis, the sampler catch and sampling efficiency of the NSC basket type bed load sampler were expressed in terms of flow condition, sediment properties and sampler geometry. Existing data and new data obtained in a large sediment flume, using scale models of the sampler, were used to examine the effects of the pertinent independent variables"--Summary.
