"This Manual presents the minimum requirements for facility and operating standards based on applicable existing legislation and codes, including Environmental Codes of Practice (ECP). It has been prepared to ensure environmentally sound management of B.C. coastal marinas as agreed by Industry and Government. This manual is not intended to supersede any Local, Provincial or Federal regulations. Every marina operator must comply with these guidelines to achieve an acceptable level of environmental protection"--Introduction, page i.
