Shellfish Areas 9, 10, 11 and 12, including Little Lepreau Basin, Lepreau Harbour, New River Harbour and Pocologan Harbour, from early June to mid-September, 1973. The studies were designed to reassess the present classifications of these areas for the harvesting of shellfish, and to determine whether closed areas might be exploited provided that the shellfish underwent an approved depuration process.
