"The Proceedings of the 63rd Forest Pest Management Forum is a summary report of the Forest Pest Management Forum, which was held virtually due to COVID-19, February 16-17, 2021. The Forum is a meeting where federal, provincial, territorial, municipal, industrial, and nongovernmental organizations discuss and coordinate research related to forest insect and disease disturbances. Natural Resources Canada uses this event to facilitate discussion on national research priorities concerning forest health issues. The Proceedings contains the abstracts of presentations on: provincial/territorial forest health reports, forest pest mitigation; pesticide regulations, alternatives, and minor use update; forest pest detection; forest pathology; and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's managing risk pathways and enhancement of detection tools.
