Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System : a retrospective look. : RG24-10/1989E-PDF

"On Tuesday, March 14, 1989, a meeting was held in Ottawa amongst several key participants of the WHMIS initiative in order to take a retrospective look at the process. The objective of this report is to summarize from that meeting the perceived conditions for the successful use of the consensus approach, to provide some recommendations for modifying, if necessary, this technique based on the WHMIS experience and to identify the types of projects for which the consensus process is suited"--Introduction.
