Juvenile Pacific salmon survey in the Strait of Georgia and associated waters, July 8-27, 2007 / by Chrys-Ellen M. Neville, Lana C. Fitzpatrick and Richard J. Beamish. : Fs97-13/1365E-PDF
"A trawl survey to examine the distribution, abundance and ecology of juvenile Pacific salmon (Oncorhynchus spp.) in the Strait of Georgia and associated waters was conducted July 8-27, 2007 as one of the annual surveys that occurred in June-July and in September-October each year since 1998. In July 2007, the survey covered the Strait of Georgia region and was consistent with the standard surveys that had been conducted between 1998 and 2006. Additional sampling was conducted in Queen Charlotte Strait, Johnstone Strait, Bute Inlet, Desolation Sound, Puget Sound (United States) and Juan de Fuca Strait. In addition to providing the catch information from the survey, this report provides a brief history of the surveys, the survey design and the intent of the surveys in understanding the early marine ecology of Pacific salmon in the Strait of Georgia"--Abstract, page viii.
