"This report chronicles the flood events in the town of Hay River in early May, 1985. The natural causes for the flood are analysed. Recommendations derived from these analyses make suggestions for design of flood warning systems. They also recommend the redesignation under the Flood Damage Reduction Program of the Hay River flood plain on Vale Island"--Abstract.
