"In October 2022, the Department of Canadian Heritage conducted a short survey of stakeholders to gather their views on current and emerging priorities of the museum and heritage sector. The following information represents condensed, national level highlights from the survey data. These results are subject to review and a more in-depth analysis is currently underway. Ultimately, these responses will complement input from broad consultations being held throughout the year. Taken together, this input will help the department better understand the sector and assist in the modernization of a national museum policy"--Page 1.
