"The Proceedings of the 64th Forest Pest Management Forum is a summary report of the Forest Pest Management Forum, which was held virtually due to COVID-19, December 7-9, 2021. The Forum is a meeting where federal, provincial, territorial, municipal, industrial, and nongovernmental organizations discuss and coordinate research related to forest insect and disease disturbances. Natural Resources Canada uses this event to facilitate discussion on national research priorities concerning forest health issues. The Proceedings contains the abstracts of presentations on: overview of forest pest conditions in Canada and USA; provincial/territorial forest health reports; forest pest mitigation; pesticide regulations; alternatives, and minor use update; forest pest detection; innovative forest health research & technologies; and managing invasive species risk pathways and enhancement of detection tools by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
