Emission reductions are based on the difference between the combustion of conventional fuel (gas/diesel) in less efficient vehicle fleets (the baseline) and the combustion of fuel in more efficient vehicle fleets, or those that use a cleaner form of energy (the project). The GHG Guidance Modules provide a simple, sector-specific approach to GHG quantification for various projects across Canada.
