"The RCMP's environmental scan seeks to identify key trends that can be used to plan for the future. It allows the RCMP to develop organizational strategies and helps us work more effectively with local, Indigenous, national and international law enforcement partners to keep Canada safe. We have identified six areas, which are critical when developing organizational strategies. These include: 1) national security and transitional and serious organized crime; 2) demographics and society; 3) the 4th industrial revolution; 4) protecting human rights; 5) climate change; 6) trust, confidence and transparency"--Provided by publisher.
