"The purpose of the evaluation was to assess the horizontal coordination aspect of the Family Violence Initiative (FVI) for the period 2011-2012 to 2016-2017. The evaluation did not intend to assess the achievement of outcomes, but rather aimed to provide lessons learned in the management of horizontal initiatives by assessing the governance of the FVI"--Executive summary, page 1.
