"Three measured sections through Cryogenian, Ediacaran, and early Cambrian units in the Mackenzie Mountains, N.W.T., are presented. Section CJA-77-41 is a downward extension of a published section, and includes the Keele, Sheepbed, Ravensthroat, Hayhook, Sheepbed, Backbone Ranges, and Sekwi formations. Sections 08MWB-S1 and 08MWB-S6 have appeared in print as graphic logs; the present report provides previously unpublished descriptive notes. The first of these sections includes the Twitya Formation and part of the Keele Formation; the second includes the uppermost Twitya Formation, the Ice Brook Formation (Stelfox Member), the Ravensthroat and Hayhook formations (both informal), the Sheepbed Formation, the Nadaleen Formation, and the Backbone Ranges Formation (lower member)"--Abstract, page 2.
