"This document provides the results and analysis of the findings of inspections conducted on clinical trials by the Health Products and Food Branch Inspectorate (Inspectorate) during the voluntary and confidence building phase. The objectives of conducting inspections of clinical trials, as announced by the Minister of Health in January 2000, are to increase the protection of subjects enrolled in clinical trials and to validate the data collected in the conduct of clinical trials"--Executive Summary, page 2.
