"This method describes the process of dewatering water and bitumen emulsions through manual distillation of petroleum products. The procedure involves conducting the distillation at atmospheric pressure first, followed by vacuum distillation to ensure the complete removal of water. The method adheres to the guidelines specified in the ASTM D1160 method"--page 4.
