"This report deals largely with the pulses production and trade in the world. The coverage given to each country or group of countries varies greatly with the amount of information available, with the species of pulses grown or used locally, with the importance of the area in world trade or in trade (actual or potential) with Canada. In some cases, details available are not included as they were not considered essential for the purpose of the report and in an effort to keep the report within reasonable length.
