"This inventory of both past and current precipitation chemistry stations in the Atlantic provinces was prepared for the Atlantic Region LRTAP Monitoring and Effects Working Group by the Scientific Services Division of the Atmospheric Environment Service - Atlantic Region. The stations in the listing were established to collect precipitation which is subsequently analyzed for chemical properties and constituents that relate to the long range transport of airborne pollutants ("Acid Rain")"--Introduction.
