"Since the federal Species at Risk Act is such an important piece of legislation, the administration and delivery of the Act, through the Species at Risk Program, has been subject to several audits and evaluations in recent years. The Horizontal Evaluation of the Species at Risk Program aims to complement the findings of past audits and evaluations and is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the 2016 Treasury Board Policy on Results"--Pages 1-2.
