The development of a prediction equation for transit system line frost at Edmonton, Alberta / by B.M. Burns. : En57-46/10E-PDF

"Equations, generated by linear regression analysis, for forecasting Edmonton Transit System line frost are listed and discussed. The results of the field test and the computer costs of development of the equations are included. The latter portion of the paper includes information, gleaned from conversations with personnel of various companies, with respect to frost and related problems. The equations eliminate indecision in the "now" forecasting of line frost and provide a fixed base from which to predict formation or dissipation"--Abstract.
