Evaluation of the AIRsonde/RD65 as an emergency mobile response system / by R.E. Mickle and R.M. Bloxam. : En57-64/84-8E-PDF

"During the Nanticoke Experiment in the spring of 1982, a 1680 MHZ AIRSonde* tracked automatically by an RD65** parabolic dash antenna was utilized in order to obtain detailed profiles to 5 km. The portability and all-weather capability of this system make it potentially useful as an emergency mobile response package. This report evaluates the system against the data quality criteria (Table 1) as established by the Task Force on Emergency Equipment"--Page 2.
