"This document describes the approach used to create a national register of land covers to support ecosystem accounting in Canada. The main purpose of the dataset is to identify land cover and land use assets required for ecosystem accounting under the System of Environmental Economic Accounting (SEEA) Ecosystem Accounting framework. This dataset, referred to as the land cover register (LCR), has a 30-metre spatial resolution and represents information circa the year 2020"--Introduction, page 5.
