"The Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (the Policy) took effect on October 6, 2021. The main objective of this Policy was to take every precaution reasonable, in the circumstances, for the protection of the health and safety of employees through vaccination. Employees were required to attest to their vaccination status in the Government of Canada's Vaccine Attestation Tracking System (GC-VATS)"--Background, pages [1-2].
