Statistics are shown by major areas, minor areas, and International North Pacific Fisheries Commission areas in metric tonnes (t). Total domestic landings in 1992 were 92,801 t, 8% above the total for 1991. Most of the catch was taken by trawl gear. The main species landed were Pacific hake, Pacific cod, sablefish, yellowtail rockfish, lingcod, and Pacific ocean perch.
