"This technical memorandum examines the wind model used in the ship motion code FREDYN and gives a method for predicting capsize risk in waves and wind. Future improvements to FREDYN should include the influence of ship speed on relative wind and a new model for variation of wind forces with heel angle"--Abstract, page ii.
