"A method or laboratory performing a method should be assessed with respect to accuracy on the basis of the mean value of two or more replicate results. Although such an assessment is possible with a single result, the difference between the certified value of the reference material and the single results that is permitted could be too large to make the assessment meaningful"--Page 1.
