"The various sources of earlier information on the earlier work in connection with water movements of importance to the Scotian shelf have been referred to in an earlier report (Hachey, 1932). The hydrographical data obtained during the monthly cruises of 1932 have been subjected to the modern hydrodynamical treatment as initiated by Bjerknes"--Introduction, page [1].
