"Children and adolescents infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) can develop long-term symptoms that are commonly known as post COVID-19 condition (PCC), Long COVID, or post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection (PASC). Numerous knowledge gaps remain about the frequency, characteristics, and risk factors that lead to PCC, along with PCC's impact on the everyday functioning and development of children and adolescents.
