"The evaluation of the Habitat Conservation and Protection (HCP) Program is part of Environment and Climate Change Canada's (ECCC) Audit and Evaluation Plan 2022 to 2027. It carries out an assessment of the relevance, the effectiveness, and the efficiency of the Protected Areas Program from 2018-2019 to 2023-2024. The examination focused on program design, performance, efficiency, and delivery alternatives, as well as performance measurement and contribution to reconciliation with Indigenous peoples in Canada"--About this evaluation, page 3.
