"...The primary objective of this study was to collect and analyze surficial sediments and high quality, well-described sediment cores for use in defining the depositional history of sediment-bound contaminants in the west basin of Great Slave Lake. The analysis would include those contaminants which have known atmospheric or upstream point sources"--Study perspective.
