"The purpose of this project (Project 5211-D1: Quantitative analysis of benthic macroinvertebrate and fish community structure - a critique and comparison of biomonitoring techniques) consisted of two objectives. In the first instance the nature and quality of long-term data sets measuring benthic macroinvertebrate and fish community structure within the Peace, Athabasca and Slave river systems was assessed. These data were then compiled into a single standardized and accessible master database"--Report summary.
