"The Northern River Basins Study (NRBS) was established to examine how development affects the Peace, Athabasca and Slave river basins (NRBS 1995). The NRBS commissioned technical studies in eight broad research areas (components): hydrology/hydraulics; nutrients/dissolved oxygen; contaminants; food chain; drinking water; other uses; traditional knowledge; and, synthesis and modelling. Within each component, several subject areas were addressed. It is the intent of this document to provide the user with lists of the technical reports addressing each subject. For more general overviews, see the synthesis report for the appropriate component"--Introduction.
