"Low surface relative humidities at night in the Rocky Mountains can increase significantly the flammability of forested areas. Through examination of the wind and temperature characteristics of the air stream aloft, an approach to forecasting these low humidity occurrences is presented. The extent to which the airstream characteristics favour lee wave formation during these occurrences is discussed"--Abstract.
