"Rotary auger traps were used in the lower Stuart River, British Columbia, to sample migrating juvenile chinook salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha). The trapping program extended from September 21 to October 27, 1991. Peaks in abundance of juvenile chinook salmon were noted in late September and October. Eleven species of fish were captured by the auger traps and by beach seining. Marked chinook salmon were shown to reside in the study area for up to 11 days"--Abstract, page iii.
