"This report presents a compilation of U-Pb geochronological results from the Shaler Supergroup of northwest Canada. … In this report, we present U-Pb geochronology for >600 detrital zircon grains from 11 samples from all stratigraphic levels of the Shaler Supergroup analysed using the Sensitive High Resolution Ion Microprobe (SHRIMP) at the Geological Survey of Canada. The analytical work presented here utilizes archived samples as well as samples collected during geological mapping of the Minto Inlier in the summers of 2009 and 2010. Field and analytical work was carried out as part of Natural Resources Canada's Geomapping for Energy and Minerals (GEM) program. …"--Introduction, pages 1, 2.
