"This report presents the methodology developed to evaluate hybrid shale gas play with hydrocarbon filled matrix and organic porosities. The dual-porosity methodology presented here allows for quantitative evaluation of in-place liquids and gaz resources in the Utica Shale of the St. Lawrence Platform that can be, from the density and quality of hydrocarbon exploration data, be considered as a frontier sedimentary basin"--page 1.
