"In order to provide some research-based analysis to assist the committee examining the role of uniforms in the Correctional Service Canada, the Assistant Commissioner, Communications and Corporate Development commissioned a review and bibliographic inventory of the topic. The literature search focussed on the issue of uniforms and their reported impact on organizational structure and behaviour, on performance, motivation, discipline and productivity in the field of corrections"--Page [5].
