Study on Canadians' beliefs, attitudes, knowledge and behaviours related to wildfire risk / prepared for: Natural Resources Canada. : Fo4-280/2026E-PDF
"Research on public perceptions of wildfire risks in Canada remains limited. Commissioned by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), the purpose of this project is to dive deep into the intricate layers of Canadians' public perceptions, awareness, and knowledge around wildfire risks. This survey is designed to enhance understanding of Canadians' behaviors and attitudes toward wildfire risk reduction. The results will help inform policies, improve programs/initiatives and shape communications. This research also contributes to commitments and goals outlined in the Canadian Council of Forest Ministers' Canadian Wildland Fire Prevention and Mitigation Strategy"--Research purpose, page 8.
