The goal of this paper is twofold. First, we explore changes in job quality over time by reexamining the extent to which large firms pay higher wages and offer more fringe benefits than small firms. Second, we document how work schedules vary across employer size groups and we investigate the size-wage differential attributable to variations in the length and in timing of work by employer size groups.--Page 1
