This publication is designed to serve those concerned with regional development. Using a technique developed in the United States, employment data from the Annual Census of Manufactures are placed in a convenient framework for analysis, to facilitate comparisons among areas. The focus in this publication is on the change in manufacturing employment in the period 1961 to 1967. This updates the initial publication which dealt with the time periodes 1949-1959 and 1961-1965.
