"New home warranty programs have been a feature of the new housing industry for the past two decades. Now all regions of Canada except the North-West Territories (Atlantic Canada, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia and the Yukon) have an industry-supported program designed to provide the purchaser of a new home with coverage against a number of workmanship and structural defects.
