The National Insolvency Forum, national report: RG64-10/2000E-PDF
This report outlines the results of two conferences held by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy. These spring 1999 conferences examined Canada's insolvency system: what works, what doesn't work and how it can be improved. Four directions for the future emerged: maintain a strong policy and regulatory framework; streamline the insolvency process; enhance information and key services available to Canadians on-line; and strengthen partnerships with stakeholders and clients alike.
