"This report presents the key findings, conclusions, and recommendations of the evaluation of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) PromoScience Program. This is the second evaluation of the program and covers the period from fiscal year 2015-2016 to fiscal year 2019-2020. … The purpose of this evaluation is to provide NSERC's senior management with an analysis of the relevance of the PromoScience program and the key findings from 2015, as well as an assessment of the program's delivery, performance and efficiency following the budget increases of the past five years. In addition, the evaluation was developed to ensure that NSERC meets the requirements of Section 42.1(1) of the Financial Administration Act and the 2016 Treasury Board Policy on Results"--Introduction, page 4.
