The Federally Sentenced Women's Facility was constructed in 1994 to accommodate Correctional Service Canada's Green Plan initiatives. To help the facility meet the Green Plan's carbon dioxide reduction targets, a closed-loop ground-source heat pump system was installed.--Cover
