The Canada Marine Act - beyond tomorrow : report of the Review Panel to the Minister of Transport: T22-120/2003
This final report presents the Review Panel’s analysis of 140 written briefs and 75 presentations on the implementation issues of the Act. Besides putting forward general recommendations that the Act incorporate a preamble and a mandatory review every five years, the report presents recommendations concerning the Canada Port Authorities, the St. Lawrence Seaway, public ports, pilotage, and ferries. The report also details other stakeholders’ observations that are important to the objectives of the National Marine Policy.
