Part I describes POPs in the Canadian context and how Canada’s policies, legislation, regulations, and other instruments will work toward meeting the obligations set out in the Stockholm Convention. Part II presents a national action plan for addressing emissions of unintentionally produced POPs, such as PCBs, and strategies to reduce total releases.
