The governments of Canada and Ontario cooperate on restoring and protecting the Great Lakes through the Canada-Ontario Agreement Respecting the Great Lakes Basin Ecosystem (COA). Through COA, both governments have laid out environmental priorities and set specific goals and actions for the enhancement and preservation of the Basin's ecosystem. This newsletter provides an overview of some of the successes that have been achieved through COA from 2007 to 2010, and outlines achievements and challenges involved in implementing the Agreement.
