Canada's physical activity guide for youth: H39-611/2002-1E-PDF
This pamphlet issues a challenge to Canada’s youth: Dare to be active. Meeting new friends, improving self-esteem, achieving a healthy weight, and strengthening bones and muscles are just some of the benefits teens can enjoy with a healthy lifestyle. A five-month chart is included to help teens slowly increase their daily moderate and vigorous physical activity, and suggestions of activities that will help keep teens happy and healthy are listed, including skiing or snowboarding, skateboarding, dancing, raking the leaves, and walking to the mall.
