The Detour Gold Corporation (the proponent) is proposing to develop an open pit gold mine located on the northern edge of the Canadian Shield in northeastern Ontario. The purpose of this comprehensive study report (CSR) is to provide a summary of the information and analysis that the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) considered in reaching its conclusion on whether the Project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
