Canpotex Terminals Limited (Canpotex) and the Prince Rupert Port Authority (PRPA) are each proposing to undertake projects on Ridley Island in the Port of Prince Rupert, British Columbia. Canpotex is proposing to construct and operate the Canpotex Potash Export Terminal and the PRPA is proposing to construct the Ridley Island Road, Rail and Utility Corridor (RRUC). The Canpotex Potash Export Terminal will have the capacity to export up to 11.5 million tonnes of potash annually. This report presents the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency’s (the Agency) analysis to determine whether the Project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
