Commander Canadian Army's reading list .: D2-249/2015E-PDF
"The aim of this reading list is to provide soldiers with an instructive guide for exploring suitable literature on a broad range of themes. The list is robust, containing some 380 entries. It is a serious list for professional soldiers and students of war, but it does not in any way preclude leaders of any rank from creating their own reading lists for their own purposes; in fact this is strongly encouraged. The list also affords the Army the opportunity to highlight Canadian contributions to military thought. Canadian authors are identified by a small maple leaf next to the entry"--p. 6.
